Following President George Manneh Weah’s latest song, ‘Happy Birthday To You’ which has rocked residents of Monrovia and its environ with many wondering as to whose birthday is being observed that gives rise to the President to release his latest song, many Liberians have been throwing out riddle about this latest release and what gave rise to its composition.
Since the release of the Liberian leader 4th song, ‘Happy Birthday To You’, more questions than answers have been propping up as to whose birthday the President is musically pacifying amid the celebration of our Lord Jesus Christ’s birthday which is been celebrated globally.
As Liberians continue to talk about this song, others in their guesswork recounted that perhaps the President’s latest release could be in observing of one of his female admirers; speculating that the observing of Jackie Appiah, a Canadian-born Ghanaian actress’ 37th birth anniversary which was held on December 5, 2020 is widely believed to be the occasion that gave rise to the Liberian leader latest release.
This gossip has gone nationwide, with many agreeing and suggesting that this song made by the Liberian leader should be considered as one of the best gift to this actress who have over the years grew a resounding friendship with the Liberian leader, President George Manneh Weah.
Others who spoke to the GNN on the issue and refused to agree that the song in question was made in observing of Actress Jackie Appiah, noted that it would be more appreciative if the President made a Christmas song instead of an ordinary birthday song, adding, “This President is a good musician, I admired him a lot for that but must pay attention to the suffering of the Liberian people”, one of those who spoke to the GNN noted.
