Liberia’s President-elect George Manneh Weah and his darling wife Mrs. Clair Weah on Monday, January 1, 2018 paid a courtesy visit to his former rival, and outgoing Vice President, Joseph Nyuma Boakai at the residence of the Vice President.

This ceremony between both men was colorul, as they exchanged pleasantries and reiterated assurances to work together for the good of the country, a move described by many Liberians who spoke to our reporter as a sign of unity and nationalism.

The two leaders, according a post by Mr. Anthony Kesselly on his ‘Face Book’ wall, retreated to a one-one session in the VP’s private home office located at the Rehab Community, Paynesville.
