Liberian Officer Graduates with Honors from the Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre

(Abuja, June 21, 2023):  A Liberian officer, Master Sergeant Daniel N. Toe, has graduated with honors from a mid-level officers entrepreneurship and management course at the Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre (NAFRC) in Lagos, Nigeria.

Under the leadership of Air Vice Marshal C.A. Ohwo, the curriculum included various vocational and business skills geared towards equipping the veterans of the Nigerian armed forces and allied students from the ECOWAS region with relevant trade and vocational skills to enable them integrate into civil life and enjoy productive post service life.

According to a press release from the Embassy of Liberia in Abuja, Nigeria, the various dignitaries gracing the occasion included the former Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral A. Z. Gambo and the former Chief of Air Staff,  Air Marshall I.O. Amao. Mr. Emeka Nzeruem, the son of the Former Honorary Consul General of Liberia in Lagos, Mr. Chief Cliff Nzeruem,  represented the Ambassador of Liberia to Nigeria, Dr. Al-Hassan Conteh, who the Commandant of  the NAFRC granted a complimentary award for his service in Nigeria.

Several projects were commissioned following the graduation ceremony, including the new facilities for trainees’ accommodation, a parade ground, a remodeled NAFRC headquarter, and a 300-room veteran hostel.

The NAFRC is a world class military training institution located, in Oshodi, Lagos, Nigeria, that trains veteran military men and women to cope with the challenges of  post service life.
