A Liberian identified as Julius Beford was on Monday, March 20, 2023 reportedly arrested by the Indian drug enforcement agency for his alleged in possession huge quantity of cocaine valued at thousands of United States Dollars.
According to report, the arrest was made by officers of the Indian Drugs Enforcement Agency at a beach village in North Goa, India, and has since been detained, according to an Indian online outlet, the Outlook.
The online paper said the police had conducted a raid at Anjuna on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday and apprehended the accused, deputy superintendent of police Jivba Dalvi said.
The accused,41 was found in possession of cocaine worth Rupee 60,000 was arrested under the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
