LIBERIA: World Lebanese Cultural Union supports Gov.’s fight against COVID-19
The Executive Committee on Coronavirus has received several materials from the World Lebanese Cultural Union.
The items included two-hundred sheets for hospitals, one refrigerator, two desktop computers and two grass cutting machines, among others.
Presenting the materials at the Committee’s Headquarters in Monrovia Thursday, June 4, 2020, a member of the Union, Mohammed Mattar, said:” His organization is pleased to support the Liberian Government in the fight against COVID-19.”
Mr. Mattar, on behalf of the Chairman Ahmed Wazni, pledged the Union’s support to the Executive Committee on Coronavirus, to ensure the containment of the virus.
Receiving the items, the National Coordinator of the Committee, Madam Mary Broh, thanked the World Lebanese Cultural Union for the donation.
Madam Broh recounted the huge support given the Liberian Government by the Lebanese Community in the areas of health, trade and education.
