LIBERIA: TU Provides Affordable Learning Environment, Administers Graduate School Entrance Exam

The Administration of the University (TU) in order to provide affordable learning environment in southeastern Liberia, has for the first time administered Entrance Examination for Graduate program for those Liberians in that of the country seeking for highest education to be enrolled.
The exercise which took place on the main campus of the university in Harper City, Maryland County on January 21, 2023, brought several participants from River Gee, Grand Kru, Grand Gedeh, and Sinoe Counties.
Addressing reporters, the acting President of the University Dr. Emmanuel Wreh said over two hundred students from these counties anxiously sat for the examination, and further noted that the graduate programs will enable those that don’t have the opportunity to travel to Monrovia, and other parts of the world to have the opportunity for such.
Dr. Wreh who appeared excited said, “I am indeed grateful for this opportunity, and also want to use this time to notify the public that the university will have in its closet Master’s Program in the six colleges of the university include College of Education.
He said Master in Education curriculum and instructions, master of Education in leadership, College of Business and Administration we afford International Resources, College of Arts and Sciences we will afford demographics and Population Study, College of Agricultural.
He said all the graduate programs activities we be run by PHD Professors, and he narrated that in the next 30 days the professors from abroad will be in Liberia for the graduate programs at Tubman University.
He said 12 Professors are currently available, and they all will be included in the process; and also called on all graduates of Tubman University and other graduates from different Universities in Liberia the World at large to take advantage of the Master’s Program. Dr: Emmanuel Wreh disclosed that classes of the master programs will start officially in March of this year (2023).
Several students who took the entrance expressed their excitement for the opportunity, noting that they are indeed overwhelmed and happy for this initiative of Tubman University to offered graduate programs, many of us graduated and obtained a Bachelor degrees but due to lacked of support, and finance they were unable to travel out of their respective counties for further education advancement.
