LIBERIA: Several Students At Lofa Community College Wounded

Several students’ sustained major injuries following Violence that erupted during student council government elections at Lofa County Community College

The violence ensued during the conduct of the student council government elections between the Student Unification Party and the Student Integration Movement at the community college.

According to report, the violence erupted when an executive member of SIM, student Ambrose Kohene allegedly attempted taking the ballot box from polling place one to an unknown place.

The situation resulted into violence, thus leading to several students being brutalized by some individuals who are yet to be identified.
