It has come to the attention of the Liberia National Police that some individuals are randomly firing crackers and instilling fear in peaceful citizens and residents this festive season.
Hence, the LNP warns citizens who are bent on the use of fire crackers during this festive season to desist with immediate effect or face the full weight of the law.
During this celebration of Christmas and the new year, the LNP takes serious attention on people who are involved in activities to scare other peaceful citizens and residents in homes, market places and other social gatherings.
The LNP urges everyone to remain law abiding during this festive season as it will not relent to arrest anyone whose actions has got to do with creating panic to others.
Anyone caught using firecrackers from now on and going forward will be arrested and made to face the full weight of the law.
