According to our Nimba County Correspondent,  several vehicles and pedestrians were seen stopped by the police for inspection, this time not vehicle documents, but rather the visibility of people wearing masks.

Even the kids are compelled to wear nose masks

Several vehicles were seen queued as police continue their assignment, as many commuters who spoke to the GNN expressed surprise of this latest development, apparently not being informed of the President’s mandate of the compulsory wearing of Face and Nose Masks, the observing of social distancing, and other health protocols.

Speaking to our Correspondent, some of the officers on assignment said the enforcement order comes from the Chief Executive, the Liberian presidency aimed at curtailing the deadly virus.
