LIBERIA: Police Launches Manhunt For Nigerian National For Attempting Murder

Police in Sinoe County, in southeastern Liberia have launched a manhunt for a Nigerian national only identified as Success for an attempted on his Liberian wife and children after locking them in a house with the intent to set them ablaze.

According to a local correspondent of state radio, ELBC in the county, the man prior to locking up his family in the house he was alleged to have seriously injuring his wife by cutting some of her body parts including her head and butt scissor which made her to be enable to sit.

As a result of the injury, the lady was taken to a nearby health center in Greenville, the capital of the county for treatment, while his two children who also received minor injuries as a result of the incident are also taken treatment.

The Sinoe County police detachment has reportedly alerted their counterparts in other nearby counties to be on the hunt for the man who is said to be on the run. Recently another Nigerian was arrested for his alleged involvement in counterfeiting over One Million Liberian Dollars banknote with all in Five Hundred Dollars bills.
