The political leader and first partisan of the People’s Liberation Party (PLP) Dr. Daniel E. Cassell have over the weekend dedicated three bridges in Larka-ta township District # 4. Margibi County.
The total cost of the bridges is valued at USD 2,500.000 (Two hundred, fifty thousand united stated Dollars) and will connect Larka-ta and Cinta Township in Margibi County.
Speaking at the dedication ceremony, the vice chairman for Administration and finance for the Dr. Cassel Foundation Tapple Doe, said the three bridges construction came about during a visit by their chief executive office some part of last year during the raining season when they went to see the 365 acres of land that have been purchased by Dr. Cassel to carry on development and were obstructed by the filling of the creeks.
He said at which time Dr. Cassel through a consultations with others officials asked what he could do in that area to facility free movement and all of them suggested that bridges should be constructed.
For his part, the political leader of the People’s Liberation Party (PLP) and chief executive officer of the Dr. Cassel Foundation, Daniel E. Cassell lauded the people of Larkay-Ta Town for the warm welcome and said the construction of bridges is his own way of contributing to society what God has blessed him with.
Dr. Cassel noted that he could carry development only in his homeland (LOFA) but his many humanitarian gestures have been control by God so he decides to do what God asked him.
He mention that his contribution in Liberia is not paying back to the country for the country have not given him anything adding that he has blessed by God and its God who asked him to return home and share with people what he has earned.
“I know what you people going through; and so, I am here to fight for you people. God has sent me for us to work together. I am not a politician; I have not been in politics before; I have not worked for government before. My hands are clean and I never fear any human being. I never went to the dark world before to get my money. People who go to the dark world for cannot do anything good with it because, the devil does not have a free gift. I believe in the Most High and it is who I trust”.
“Look around-those who killed people for government positions-how do they end up? They end up miserably; they died like dogs. They have wasted so many blood on this land. That’s why this land needs to be cleansed. The lives or the blood of the innocent that have been shed on this soil throughout the nation is weeping. We need redemption”. He concluded.
