LIBERIA: Officer James Togba Of The Police Emergency Response Unit Sent To Court For Shooting Disadvantaged Youth

The officer of the Police Emergency Response Unit (ERU) , James Togba sent to court for allegedly shooting a disadvantage Youth to death and injuring others in Point Four Community, Montserrado County

The charges include: Murder and Aggravated Assault.

Police investigation established that on July 4th, this year, ERU Officer Togba embarked upon his Self Interest patrol, sometimes referred to as Snake’s Patrol in the Fuel oil Community in point four, to harass Ghetto boys for Money.

The report detailed that upon his arrival in the Ghetto, he allegedly demanded Money from the Zogos; but, as no one could cooperate, he began breaking the structure.

It is reported that after few minutes, the ERU officer again demanded the disadvantage youths to leave the area, at which time he took out a

9 Millimeter Smith and Wesson Pistol and fired at Olando Broh and inflicted injuries on Kendrick Karnley.
