LIBERIA: Nimba County Citizens Gearing Up For Better Representation in the Senate 2023

Report from Nimba County says one Liberia’s renowned security expert, and a recipient of three Masters from the United States is to shortly be petitioned by the people of Nimba County to contest in the upcoming 2023 senatorial elections.

According to our Nimba County Correspondent, James D. Hallowanger has been eyed by the people of the county to contest the upcoming Senatorial race in 2023, nothing that he will be the most preferred candidate to represent them.

Mr. Hallowanger who hailed from Tappita, Nimba County has said to have won the hearts and minds of many of the electorates in the county, noting that he will be the most preferred choice in the 2023 senatorial race for the county.

According to our Correspondent in the county, dozens of citizens who were spoken to said Mr. Hallowanger who previously served as deputy director and acting director  of the former  Special Security Service (SSS), now the Executive Protection Service (EPA) and also served as  deputy director of police for Training at the police Commandant has been considered as a commitment Liberian who can be trusted when elected to the Senate.

Effort by our staff to contact the person in question who has just returned from the United States to comment on this, has proven unsuccessful .
