The Liberia Council of Tradition Chiefs and Elders has announced its decision to collectively elect chiefs at the National Legislature.
The Council Chairman Zanzan Kawar, at a press conference on Monday, said the House of Representative will become a more honorable place if chiefs are elected to the legislature.
Chief Kawar stressed the need to establish what he termed as an “Upper Room” that will support chiefs to represent their people at the National Legislature.
