Liberia National Fire Service Release Results Of Fire Outbreak That Kills 27 Students – Says It Was An Electrical Shock

The Director of the Liberia National Fire Service today released a report containing the results of the outbreak of fire that killed at least 27 students including two of their teachers at a boarding school in Paynesville, the suburb of Monrovia few weeks ago.
Addressing reporters in Monrovia, Director of the Liberia National Fire Service, Col. Alex K. Dickson said the outbreak was caused by electrical shock.
Col. Dickson further disclosed that in the same building where the students were residing a motorbike was being kept with gasoline which contained gasoline exploded as a result of the fire, the victims could not find their way out because the only exit was where the fire was.
Col. Dickson also said substandard materials were used to construct the building which had overstayed its existence and quality depreciated, and back with only one way out.
