LIBERIA: Maryland County Senator J. Gbleh Bo Brown Donates To His County Several Items Including Cash

As Liberians battle with deadly Coronavirus pandemic which has destroyed millions of lives Globally including Liberia, Maryland County Senator, J. Gbleh Bo Brown who is currently in the County has graciously made a huge donation to the people of the County.
According to GNN Correspondent in the County, Senator Brown distributed several food and non-food items including: 41 cartons of clean soap, 325 bags of rice, 15 cartons of chloride, 2,200 nose masks, and the disbursement of cash in the amount of 445,000.00.
The donated items were turned over to the Mr. Dickson Butty Chairman of the distribution committee on behalf of the County who expressed thanks and appreciation to Senator Brown for the donation, stressing, “As the materials presented to me today will be distributed to those who need it, and further explained that Senator J. Gbleh Bo Brown is always contributing to growth and development of the County.
Speaking to reporters after the distribution, Senator Brown said his purpose of coming in the County is to empower the efforts of the national government during the fight against COVID-19, and further used the occasion to call on residents of County to put aside their differences, and joint hands together to combat the spread of Coronavirus, adding, “ I have come in the county to also identify with the people of Barrobo District for the recent storm incident when houses were destroyed.
Senator Brown made available to the people of Barrobo power saw, gasoline, and a cash tone of 150,000.00, also disclosed that the distribution will be done amongst major institutions such as the County Health Sector, youth groups, and the security sector of the county.
