LIBERIA: Margibi Assistant Superintendent For Development Dies Of ‘Diabetes’

Margibi County Assistant Superintendent for Development is dead. Mr. David F. Suahkollie died Friday afternoon at the SOS Clinic in Congo Town in Monrovia following a brief illness.

The Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent of Margibi County, Koboi Weedor, said Suahkollie reported to work on Tuesday, March 19, but complained that he was not feeling well and left office to seek medical attention.

“He even called me during the early afternoon hours on Thursday of this week, only to hear today (Friday) that he has died. It is quite surprising to the people of Margibi County,” Weedor lamented.

The news of the Assistant Superintendent’s demise has shocked Margibi County, as his illness was never heard of by many, least to think of his death.

He was appointed by President George Manneh Weah in early March 2018 along with other local government officials to steer the affairs of the county. He was 58, report said the assistant county superintendent died of diabetes, according to doctors’ report.
