LIBERIA: LACC Recovers Over US$1M And LD2M From Current And Former Governments
Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) says it has recovered over One Million United States Dollars and Three Million Liberian Dollars from past and current government officials
According to the LACC, the money will be turned over to the government for developmental purposes.
LACC Executive Chairperson, Cllr. Edwin Kla Martin says the commission will be more robust in the coming days, towards pursuing and investigating alleged corrupt government officials.
He also promised to publicly release the final report of alleged corrupt practices involving Agriculture Minister Jeanie Cooper and others.
