LIBERIA: In Pleebo, Fire Leaves Several Homeless Due To ‘Electrical Shock’

Several persons in Mission town Community, Pleebo City, Maryland County, were made homeless due to an alleged electrical shock which resulted into the burning of a two bedrooms house on Tuesday, January 25, 2022.

According to our Correspondent in the county, quoting owner the fore guttered house, Mr. Banglay Konneh expressed surprise over the situation noting that after hearing the news of the fire he immediately disconnected all appliances and went on his normal hustle.

“I can’t even get over this whole thing here. I was in the house when the current went, and I disconnected the appliances and went on my normal hustle. I don’t know where to start from now, all of my materials including my small money got burned”.

Mr. Konneh however, used the occasion to call on the government of Liberia and an humanitarian organization to aid him and the family living in that house.

“My children school materials and my entire property got burned in the house, therefore, let the local Authority in Maryland County, government officials including local and international NGOs, humanitarian organizations, and individuals to kindly help me get back on my daily activities.
