The scholarship initiative covers beneficiaries’   tuition and registration payment.

Chris Jobo, the District Coordinator assigned in the offices of Representative Koffa, said awarding scholarship to young Liberians, especially in his constituency, is in fulfillment of one of his campaign promises made to citizens as part of his support to education in Grand Kru County.

Giving the outcome of a recent assessment conducted within the district, it was discovered that more children of school-going age are out of the classroom simply because their parents could not afford to underwrite registration cost in public schools, the same being the case with self-supported students.

He revealed the report claimed the lawmaker’s attention, leading to his immediate intervention to see them join their colleagues in school.

The District Coordinator disclosed that it has been the passion and engagement of Representative Koffa to improve the county’s education sector, and remains of paramount concern to him.
