LIBERIA: Decomposed Body Of Missing Man, 43, Found In CRC Plantation

Flash back: A decomposed body found

PLEEBO, (LINA) – A search party has discovered the body of a 43 year-old man in the plantation of the Cavalla Rubber Corporation (CRC), in Maryland County after he had gone missing for five days.

The body of Pedesco Wesley was on Sunday, October 30, discovered partially decomposed in a cassava patch around the former Division #2 Camp.

The deceased went to work on Wednesday, October 27, and did not return up to the evening hours, a situation that forced residents of Gedetarbo Sewonken, Yediaken and Hododiaken to launch a manhunt.

Wesley, according to accounts, was found lying on his back with his feet situated in an upright position.

A single-barrel shotgun, cutlass and a hunter’s flashlight were also found by the corpse.

Though it is yet to be established whether or not the single barrel gun belongs to the deceased, however, eyewitness said the shot in the gun was never fired.

Police, local health authority along with a 15-man coroner jury, which was constituted by authorities, found no foul play and has since turned over the corpse of the deceased to the bereaved family for burial.

Pedesco, according to his wife, normally left the house in the morning for Division #8, where he was assigned as a bush-cut contractor of the Cavalla Rubber Corporation.

Though they have been together for several years, the wife of the deceased has affirmed that her husband was without any known medical complications that could lead him to such unexplained death.

Pedesco Wesley was a father of three kids, two of whom are in school, according to his wife.
