LIBERIA: As Judge Gbasie grant Apostle Snorton bailout, father of  rape victim See Foul play

The father of the 21 years old woman who was allegedly raped by Apostle Franklin Snorton wants fair trial in the case proceedings involving his daughter and the Spiritual leader.

Mr. Harris Mulbah quest for fair trail comes amidst public speculations in every loops and corners that Judge Yarmie Gbassey has received bribe from members of the Philadelphia church to pardon their spiritual leader in avoiding public disgrace.

Accordingly, Margibi County presiding Judge of the November term of court Judge Yarmie Gbassey on Thursday Jan. 13, 2022 granted motions from both the prosecutor and the defense counsel by recuing himself from the case and granted the pastor a bailout.

Mr. Mulbah further that in-spite of the intimidations from the church members, they are not deter, but rather very optimistic that the law will take its course in granting a fair trial, mentioning that the state prosecutor is very angry with the judge Yarmie Gbassey proceedings.

The 21 years old pregnant woman father narrated that the case is not yet over, noting that he has contacted some legal personnel’s and they are going to follow the case to its logical conclusion as far as to the supreme court.

He explained that they are very much civil for now, but any attempt by the judge to compromise the case, they will definitely go the radical way, as his primary concern was to take case from the police station to court, adding that the case now lies in the hands of government and other international organizations are closely follow the case.

When asked about the condition of his daughter, Harris Mulbah asserted that she’s doing well and currently taking treatments, he at the same time used the medium the thank the ministry of gender children and social protection for always showing up and motivating the family to be optimistic as they await the final ruling.
