Police in Monrovia have investigated charge and sent to court a 38, years old man identified as Tony Fasasa , instructor of the African Methodist Episcopal University for allegedly raping a 18 old girl.

Defendant Fasasa , committed the act on March 8, 2022 on the campuses of the AMEU, and was reported on March 9, to the women and children protection section of the LNP by a man identified as Patrick M. Yattoh Jr.

Complaint Yattoh in his complaint to the LNP ,said his 18, years old daughter had gone to sit the entrance of the university on march 8 when she was allegedly raped by defendant Patrick Fasasa .

Complaint Yattoh Jr, revealed that on march 4, he registered his daughter for the AME university entrance and she was scheduled to sit the test on march 8.

He further explain that on Tuesday March 8,2022 his daughter went on the campus to take her test ,at late hour evening hours his daughter mother identified as Lynette Richards called him and  inform him that something happens to their daughter.

Complaint Patrick Yattoh Jr , further revealed to police investigators that after his conversation with the victim mother he instantly called his mother who the girl was staying with to ask her about what has happened.

During the inquiry the victim explain to her grand parents that she was sexually assaulted by defendant Tony Fasasa of the AME university.

Explaining her ordeal the victim narrated that she and a girl identified as Sharon met on the AME university campus to take their entrance and after the test they waited for results but two of them name didn’t come up , something that lead them to the acting director of entrance at the University Tony Fasasa who inform them that they fail.

Their aimed of reaching out to Defendant Tony Fasasa Jr was to complete one question on each subject so they pleaded with him and he give them thirty minutes to complete the question.

She maintain that after the 30 minutes, defendant Tony Fasasa ,called them in his office and said that her friend passed but she failed again and after he told them the results, they were about to leave his office.

After they made an attempt to leave his office, he told her to wait that he wants to tell her something so she waited and her friend got out of his office.

According to her testimony to police investigators, when she left behind , he told her to that he wanted she and he to have a bond and she told him that she didn’t understand what he meant and he told her that he meant to have sex and she said no.

She at the same time narrated that while trying to leave the AME university acting entrance director office he lock the door , over power her, took out both of them clothes and sexually abuse her.

Meanwhile the Liberia National Police disclosed that defendant Tony Fasasa admitted to police investigators that he had sex with the victim ,but deny of forcing her.

In view of the  facts and circumstances gather during the investigation, the LNP has charged defendant Tony Fasasa for the crime of rape in violation of Chapter 14, subchapter D, section 14 .70 (A)(I) of the New panel law pending court trial.
