LIBERIA: Ahead Of October Poll, CDC Brings ‘Select’ Media Stakeholders On Board

In order for the governing Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) to be reelected in the widely contested October poll, 2023, information received has disclosed that a ‘Select’ media stakeholders have been brought on board aimed at promotion robustly the reelection of President George Manneh Weah in his second term bide.

As the recruitment of a select media gurus continue with top officials of the CDC, aimed at helping to promote the administration of the Liberian leader that will eventually lead to his reelection on October 10, 2023, members of this media select group are said to have started the work ahead of the poll.

According to information gathered, others who are not favored by this ruling establishment to be on board are wondering as to why they are been left behind, describing this new marriage on the part of the CDC as ‘Selective’.

Some media executives who were not included on the CDC ‘Select Media Team’ have resolved not to be bothered, noting that they are also as competent as those who were selected by the CDC, adding that they will perform their duties in the interest of the lager population despite being isolated by the CDC in the performing of their respective duties as journalists.
