LCC To Launch Arbitration Services
Ms. Stephanie The Liberia Chamber of Commerce will shortly launch its Arbitration Services in collaboration with the IFC on the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
According to a press release issued this week by the LCC the function of the Arbitration Committee is to conduct the Arbitration in such manner as it considers appropriate.
The release further said, in all cases the arbitration Committee shall conduct the arbitration in an impartial, practical and expeditious manner, given each party an equal and reasonable opportunity to present its case.
The release further noted, “As all of us are aware of the current financial situation in the country particularly the issue of essential commodities, taxes, labor issue, etc. The Chamber as the oldest and most representative voice of Liberia’s diverse business community, (i.e, private sector) invite various business community as follow:
- Expat/Foreign Business Community (Expats/Foreigners owned businesses only) on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 9:30 AM at the Liberia Chamber of Commerce.
- Liberia Business Community (Liberian owned business only) on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 2:00PM at the Liberia Chamber of Commerce.
In a related development, the LCC is pleased to announce to the public and business community of its Business Dinner and the Installation of officials on October 30, 2018 at 7pm at the Monrovia City Hall. The press release from the LCC added.
