Kenyan police arrest Ugandan military officer

He will be charged with being in the country illegally while armed.

  • The two were locked up at Usenge police station cells after they were nabbed on Monday.
  • Police said the two were pending escort to Port Victoria Police Station for further police action.

A Ugandan Police Defence Force officer (UPDF) and Uganda Revenue Authority driver have been arrested in Bondo, Siaya County.

The two were locked up at Usenge police station cells after they were nabbed on Monday.

The matter was reported to the same station as arrest of a Ugandan Defence Police Force officer and Uganda Revenue Authority driver at 7.30am on Monday, December 12, 2022.
