Fresh report reaching the GNN has disclosed that the Minister of Finance, Development and Planning (MFDP), Samuel Tweah’s resignation circulating on social media has been described as a fake news, according to the Minister himself noting that he still enjoys the confidence of the President.
Minister Tweah debunked his resignation report during an inquiry Sunday by a local daily, noting that he still enjoys the confidence of the President and has not tendered in his resignation neither has he been asked to step down from his post. “The news is fake, I am still in charge of the economic management team”, Minister Tweah said Sunday.
It has been reported on social media that the Minister tendered in his resignation following a request from the Liberian leader, this report which is yet to be confirmed by the Minister of Information, Cultural Affairs and Tourism Eugene Nagbe went out like wild fire on the social media.
