Joint Security Issues Warning To CDC, UP On Planned Pre-victory Celebrations

Ahead of reported planned pre-victory celebrations on Friday, November 17 by the participating political parties in the runoff presidential election, the joint security of Liberia says it strongly resists such planned celebrations.

In a press release issued by the Ministry of Justic, and signed by its Director of Press, Maude M. Somah, said, “It has come to the attention of the Joint Security of Liberia that the two Political Parties involved in Tuesday 14^th of November, 2023 Presidential Run-Off Elections have begun preparing their various partisans and supporters for pre-victory celebrations on Friday, 17^th of November 17, 2023…” the press release below.
