Operatives of the Nigerian Police Force attacked to the Metro Area Command of the Enugu state Police command, have apprehended a 52- year- old man who allegedly murdered three of his children in cold blood, and hid their bodies inside a deep freezer in his apartment.
The suspect who was identified as Ifeanyi Amadikwa, who resides at number 74 Nkwubor Road, in Emene area of Enugu state, the suspect allegedly killed three of his female children identified as Chidalum Amdikwe, 11- year- old, Amarachi Amadikwe, 8- year- old and Ebubechukwu Amadike, who was 4- years of age, the suspect’ s after killing the girls reportedly dumped inside a freezer to preserve their bodies.
The suspect was arrested by the Police on January 5, 2022. Preliminary investigations by the Police on the case, revealed that the suspect’s wife and mother of the children, went to the market with their lastborn son on the day her husband committed the gruesome act.
The month of the victim’ s after returning home from the market became disturbed after she could not find any of the three girls at home, after searching for the girls to no avail, she decided to alert their father (who also happens to be the main suspect) about the disappearance of the three girls. The suspect reportedly feigned ignorance of knowing the girls whereabouts, after which he reluctantly told his wife to check inside the deep freezer he brought home.
The mother of the victim’ s, after checking inside the freezer was instantly horrified by what she saw, as she saw the lifeless bodies of the three girls with bruises and scars all over their bodies, she immediately raised an alarm and the suspect was promptly arrested by security operatives, while the bodies of the girl were later recovered and deposited at a mortuary.
