In Grand Kru: Police Sent To Court Man, 29 Who Raped Girl, 12

Police in Grand Kru County has sent to count a 29 year old man for allegedly Raping a 12 year old girl.

Man 29 of wedabo Karbo identify as Augustine Yah has been arrested and detained at the Barclayville police station for allegedly raping a 12 year old girl child in Grand Kru County.

According to a source close to the police authority, the alleged rape suspect was on the run but revealed that the alleged perpetrator was arrested on July 3, 2020 by police in wedabo Dateken community of Grand kru electoral district #1.

The alleged rape suspect confessed by committing the act against the 12 year old girl child during LNP Grand Kru branch preliminary investigations in Barclayville.

The 29 year old man Augustine Yah is quoted by saying “I did it, but I did not do it good and escaped because of fair from the public and the 12 year old victim parents when caught doing the act.’’

The Grand Kru police detachment has charged suspect Augustine Yah with statutory rape and has being forwarded to count for prosecution at the Barclayville magisterial count.

According to a source that reported the case to LNP authority, the survivor victim condition is very critical and she was quickly taken to the Rally Time hospital in Grandcess for treatment.

But due to the injury sustained the 12 year old girl’s condition continues to be bad that, the health authority assigned at the Rally Time hospital could not holder, but the 12 years old female survivor victim was later transferred to Maryland, Harper health center undergoing serious medical care.
