In Connection Of The Death Of 14-Year-Old Boy’s In Buchanan, Police Arrest 15 Persons

Police in Grand Bassa County have arrested 15 people in connection to Saturday’s sporadic street protest in Wayzohn City, Wee Statutory District.

Grand Bassa County Police Superintendent, Siakor Freeman, told newsmen that those arrested are expected to receive their respective charges and be forwarded to court for prosecution.

On Saturday, July 31, 2021, several citizens including youths took to the main street of Wayzohn in demand of Justice for the mysterious death of a teen identified as, Bartun Jacobs, a student of the St. Joseph Experimental School System.

Little Bartun Jacobs was discovered hanging at his parents’ residence a day after the celebration of Liberia’s 174th Independence.

The Grand Bassa County Police superintendent described the action of the citizens as unlawful and unacceptable in a country of law.

Meanwhile, the corpse of little Bartun Jacobs is presently deposited at the Emma Juah Funeral Home as the investigation continues into his mysterious death. By: Eric Samuel Johnson
