“I Want To Come To Liberia To Defend Myself” – Indian National Denied Entry Cries Out
An Indian National, Manjo Kumar Vatwani who is currently in Sierra Leone and have been stopped not come to Liberia is calling for justice for his return to Liberia to face justice, noting that charges leveled against him must be proven in the court of law.

Explaining his ordeal to the GNN via WhatsApp on May 9, 2023, Manjo Kumar said he has been denied on several occasions by boarder security including officers from the Liberia Immigration Service (LIS) to leave Freetown, Sierra Leone to come to Liberia and defend himself in Liberian courts but to no avail.
He further disclosed that several attempts were made by him to return to Liberia, but was told that he is a national security threat, and that he is not allow to enter Liberia, noting, “I was never deported, I left Liberia with peace on my own”, he mentioned in of one his communication
In said communication, he also alleged that one of his kinsmen, Upjit Singh Sachdeva who previously served as India Consul General to Liberia is the mastermind of all of these things that are happening to him.
However, when Upjit Singh Sachdeva or Jeety was contacted he denied all allegations regarding the alleged ill-treatment of Mr. Kumar.
