House Majority Bloc Suspends Rep. Yekeh Kolubah for 30 days over Rude Behavior
The House Representatives Majority Bloc has decided to suspend Montserrado County District #10 Representative Yekeh Kolubah for 30 session days. This decision follows a report submitted by Representative James Kolleh on behalf of the House Committee on Rules, Order, and Administration.
The report, which recommended the suspension, was based on a complaint filed by River Gee County Representative Johnson Williams. In his complaint, Representative Williams accused Representative Kolubah of exhibiting rude behavior towards the current leadership of the House.
A majority of lawmakers voted in favor of the suspension, while Representatives Matthew Joe, Emmanuel Dahn, and Sumo Mulbah voted against it.
Additionally, a motion for reconsideration has been filed by Lofa County District #4 Representative Gizzie Kollince. If this motion is debated and endorsed, the earlier suspension decision may be revoked.
