Man, 22, Arrested For Attempting To Sell Human being

Police at Zone 6 Depot in Brewerville, Montserrado County have arrested a man believed to be in his early 20s for allegedly attempting to hunt for human being to be sold to some unknown person who gave him such assignment.

Explaining his ordeal to the Voice of Liberia (VOL), a social media platform at the police station, Bayee Sambullah said he and his friend were told to reach a local funeral home in the area to acquire as to whether they were interested in buying human being.

Sambullah told journalist that his friend whose name he said he can’t remember told him to find human being to be sold to some business people in the area, noting that while on the way to their assignment to sell human being, the friend who made him to start the journey secretly left him under the pretext he was going in the toilet.

He alleged that the funeral home located at the VOA community in Brewerville there he want to acquire if they were interested of buying living human being while in that process the police was alerted by the residents of the community which subsequently led to his arrest.

Bayee Sambullah claimed he is a resident of Cape Mount County but came to Monrovia for greener pasture when this happened, meanwhile, Bayee is currently behind bars at the Brewerville police depot.
