‘Guinea Worries Over Discovery Of Huge Cache Of Arms, Ammunitions In Liberia’ – Says Sheikh Kouyateh

Speaking in an exclusive interview with this platform, Liberian business executive turned politician, Sheikh Al moustapha Kouyateh has disclosed that recent discovery of huge cache of arms and ammunitions at the Freeport of Monrovia is creating fears amongst citizens of neighboring Guinea, calling on the Liberian Government to quickly bring to book those behind such act.

Kouyateh, former senatorial candidate for Montserrado County speaking further urged the Liberian government of President George Manneh Weah to speedily bring to book who may be linked to such situation, and noted that since the news broke about arms and ammunitions were discovered, the government and people of neighboring Guinea are concerned.

He said both countries, Guinea and Liberia have gone through series of military turbulence which he noted led to the loss of lives, and the destruction of both countries’ infrastructure growth, and the disarray of these countries’ human development.

Mr. Kouyateh speaking to the GNN also used the occasion to called on the Liberian leader, President George Manneh Weah to be more proactive in taking decision in the interest of the country, and disallow people who will give him ill advises against the prosperity of the country, and its people.

Touching on the attack on the residence of the former Liberian Chief Justice, Cllr, Gloria Musu Soctt which led to the death of her daughter, and wounding others critically, said the President must order his national security to be more robust in the protection of lives and properties.

Concluding, Kouyateh extended his condolences to Cllr, Scott for the loss, and pray for Allah richly blessings as she go through these times.
