For Alleged Witchcraft Activities: 3 Killed In Maryland County
According to media report from the southeastern county of Maryland, in the District of Barrobo, Rock Town, three persons including the town chief were reportedly killed on Monday, September 2, 2019 for opening confession that they are wizards. Those reportedly murdered include Isaac Weah Saydee, David Nugbo and Isaac Gortoe whose ages are yet to be established.
The report said the late Town Chief along with two others were accused of being involved in alleged witchcraft activities in the district, something which, according to the report, the three accused admitted to, that yes indeed they were wizards and even planned to killed additional 14 persons.
The 14 persons are John Tweh; 49, Moses Chea;50, Sam Gbaquire; 42, Chea Karmunue;49, Dargto Toe; 50, Davie weah; 33, and Cyrus Doe; 35. Others are Toeson Hinneh, Jacob Doe, Prince Doe, Amos Barway and Vasco Weah.
Among the 14 persons who allegedly killed the three men, six are on the run. Those on the run are Jacob Doe, Prince Doe, Vasco Weah, Dargbo Toe and Amos Barway, a source in the county told a local daily in Monrovia.
According to report, after the open confession, the three men in Rock Town Barrobo District, Maryland County were taken in the center of the town and were chopped with cutlasses on their necks, this move by these people reportedly angered citizens of the area to called on the Internal Affairs Ministry to probe the issue.
