Following Findings On ‘Missing Billions’ Former President Son, Others Arrested

One of the sons of former Liberian leader, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Mr. Charles Sirleaf who is also the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Liberia for Operations has been arrested by the Liberia National Police in connection with several billions in local currency banknotes which cannot be accounted for by the Bank.
He was handcuffed and escorted by heavy security presence amid jubilation by residents close to the Central Bank.
He was arrested along with Mr. Dorbor Hagba, Director of Banking. The pair are currently at the headquarters of the Liberia National Police.
The former governor of the CBL, Mr. Milton Weeks has reportedly turned himself over to the Liberia National Police awaiting court trial like wise the three early arrested.
