Fire Reported On Liberia Flag Crude Oil Tanker At Sture Oil Terminal, Norway

Fire was reported to erupt in engine room of Aframax crude oil tanker DUBAI HARMONY at around 0900 UTC Sep 13, at Sture oil terminal, Southern Norway. Terminal personnel was evacuated, tugs approached berthed tanker to contain possible oil leak. Fire was extinguished by 1110 UTC, according to fire department statement. Extent of tanker damages unknown. Terminal didn’t suffer any damages, no injures reported. Tanker seems to be in ballast, yet or already, depending on whether she was loading or offloading oil.
