Some of the items presented

According to the acting ED, the refrigeration industry is very sensitive especially as it relates  to the (ODS) Ozone depleting substance used in the industry. Director Dobayou stated that people are using refrigerants that Contains CFC (Chlorofluorocarbon) which is very harmful to the earth’s ozone layer because of its chlorine atoms characteristic.

Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) are nontoxic, nonflammable chemicals containing atoms of carbon, chlorine, and fluorine. They are used in the manufacture of aerosol sprays, blowing agents for foams and packing materials, as solvents, and as refrigerants.

He said the best way is to create awareness and train technicians who are in the industry to properly handle refrigerants; this he believes is one of the reasons why such donation was necessary.
