Sources closed to the Collaborating Political Parties (CPP) has hinted the GNN that the former Liberian leader, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has reportedly initiated some discussions aimed at settling the crisis between Liberty Party (LP) embattled Senator Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence and Musa Bility.
According to GNN Source, the former Liberian leader is also doing all in her power to have Senator Karnga-Lawrence accept as running mate to Alexander Cummings, the current head of the CPP, while making sure that the ongoing crisis between Senator Karnga-Lawrence and Bility be settled in order for a way forward ahead of the October 10, 2023 poll.
However, last week the Grand Bassa County Senator in her social media post hinted that there were ongoing talks both publicly and privately for her next political move, noting that, “As leaders, we are open to talking with everyone in public or privately, as we have always done”. Under the prevailing circumstances, our decision will be guided by our principles and vision in the best interest of our country. We will speak out soon”. Senator Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence stated.
The meeting was attended by ANC political leader, Alexander B. Cummings, Musa Bility and Senator Abraham Darius Dillon.
