“Closure Of My Radio Station Is A Political Witch-hunt” ….Punch CEO Cries Out

Supreme Court reserves ruling into Punch FM verses Government of Liberia case; CEO Patrick Honnah calls the government action a political witch-hunt

Punch FM is owned by Liberian journalist and popular talk-show host, Patrick Honnah.

Briefing judicial reporters on Thursday at the grounds of the Temple of Justice, Mr. Honnah expressed frustration; saying, other radio stations that were in the same category with his, have been licensed and are operational, but his Punch FM remains closed.

He told reporters, there are signs that the court will rule in favor of him and maintains the action of the government is clearly a political witch-hunt.
