The National People’s Congress of China, through Hon. Zhao Leji, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the 20th CPC Central Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People’s Congress has sent a note of congratulations to the Speaker of the 55th legislature Cllr. Fonati Koffa for his election as Speaker of the 55th Legislature of the Republic of Liberia.
The Chinese lawmaker Hon. Leji, calls for strengthening of exchanges and cooperation between the two Legislative (Parliamentary) bodies for a positive contribution to the healthy and stable development of China-Liberia’s comprehensive friendly cooperative relations.
The Letter of Congratulations and Cooperation was presented to Speaker Koffa by Chinese Ambassador Yin Chengwie during a courtesy visit at his Capitol Building’s office.
The Chinese Ambassador also presented a “blue jar” representing “Leadership or the General” in Chinese culture
