The former ruling party, the Congress for Democratic Change (CDC) on Monday, March 25, 2024 identified with the General Overseer and members of the Fire for Fire Ministries few weeks ago in Sinkor, the suburb of Monrovia bundles of zinc, following serious fire outbreak which led to the burning of the Church to ashes.
The Secretary General of the party, Jefferson Tamba Koijee who made the presentation on behalf of the Standard Bearer of the party, former President George Manneh Weah, made a presentation of ten bundles of zinc plus ten cartoons of zinc nails aimed at helping the church to rebuild its facilities.
Speaking during the presentation, the Chief Scribe of the CDC called on others to follow suit in connection to the goodwill gesture of the former Liberian leader to come to the aid of the church during time of distress, and further assured the party’s endless support towards the rebuilding process of the church
Secretary General Koijee used the occasion to urged the leadership of the church to take courage amid the outbreak of the fire, and stressed that the party will be with them during these difficult periods, and said that CDC’s political leader will be with them at all time.
In respond, the head pastor of the Church, Enoch Baffour Annor expressed thanks and appreciation to the leadership of the CDC for the gift, and said items presented will be used for their intended purpose.
