Bong County Pen-Pen Peace Network and partners concludes a one day peace festive in Gbarnga

The Bong County Pen-Pen Peace Network and partners have concluded a one day peace festive in Gbarnga, Bong County. The one day peace festive celebration which was under the theme “enhance peaceful co-existence among communities’ dwellers in Gbarnga and its environs brought together stakeholders including the Liberia National police (LNP) the federation of Liberian youth (FLY) the Liberian marketing Association (LMA) Civil society organizations and leaders of the county.

Given the overview of the one day peace festive, the head of secretariat at the office of Bong County Superintendent, Zack Monger said the celebration is meant toward bring communities and dwellers together in order to live in peaceful co-existence and is also the climaxed of all the peace activities of the entity in the county ant the program is title Gbongayman which mean togetherness.

Mr. Monger revealed that they have been working with several communities’ dwellers in Gbarnga and its environs in other to maintain peace.

Mr. Monger boastfully said with the presence of their organization in the County, the concentration community’s dwellers and motorcyclist toward violence has charged.

Serving as keynote speaker the pastor at the accession, Sam Andrew call on citizens of Bong County to continuous to keep hold on the peace now we all are enjoying in the country.

The Redeemed clergyman said informed participants of the one day peace festive that if Liberia must continuous to progress in turn of development citizens of the country has to keep the fragile peace we are now enjoying.

According to Pastor Andrew, violence degrade the country development and its citizens he made specifically reference to  the Liberia civil unrest were citizens became refugee in other country.

Also speaking, the President of the Liberia Motorcyclist Transport union Sam B. Eliot extended commendations to communities’ dwellers and institution that attended the one day peace festive for their level of commitments in working with the Bong County Pen-Pen Peace Network and partners for a successful program in the county.
