The Acting youth chairman of Walapolu Clan in Zota District, Bong County Lawrence Kpanah has described as immoral over his alleged denial by Representative Robert Flomo Womba to represent his Clan in the just ended County Council Sitting.
According to the Zota District Youth leader, he received a communication from the District Youth President John Wenepolue requesting him to form part of the County Council Sitting to represent the clan youth.
He alleged that on Monday November 12, Robert Flomo Womba immediately replaced him with one of his mute Office staffer and social partner Cecelia Mulbah who is residing in Gbarnga.
Mr. Kpannah stated that Representative Womba alleged action to deny him is a conflict of interest that will stall the progress of Zota District.
He stated that Representative Womba gave him $20USD without feeding, noting that he was sent to represent the developmental needs of his clan not to seek personal funding from the Lawmaker describing such as inhumane on the part of the Lawmaker.
He recounted that Hon. Womba has excluded Walapolu Clan from decision making processes, blaming it on political differences.
Lawrence Kpannah was a staunch supporter of defeated Candidate Susannah Lorpu Mator of Electoral District #4.
According to reliable source, Representative Womba leadership is been engulfed with marginalization, something political pundits say will serve as a storming block for his re-election in 2023 elections.
According to statistics, since 2005, no Representatives in District #4 have ever retained their seat for the second time.
Our Bong County Correspondent said former Representative Edwin Juah of Naama Town Zota District, was elected in 2005 and later 2011 whipped by former Representative Lester Paye from Foloquelleh in Panta District, and then in 2017 general elections, while he was also whipped by Representative Robert Flomo Womba from Kpaquellie Clan.
It is also being speculated in the District and the county that the current District#4 Representative and the former ruling Unity Party Chairman for Bong County, Robert Flomo Womba is deducting twenty percents from his office staffers’ salary in other to up mean his 2023 re-election in the District.
He believes that by doing so will make him more financially capacitated to defeat any candidates who will contest again him in the 2023 general election in the district.
Meanwhile when contacted Representative Womba via mobile from Monrovia on the alleged marginalization and the deduction of salary from his office staffers, Rep. Womba said he is not worry about such a thing.
