Big Boost For ‘Struggling’ Liberian Economy As Hospitality Concept And Allied Services Open Hilton Monrovia

Liberia is said to be getting on the right path with the involvement of some committed investors who have vowed to place Liberia on the map as a successful country where investors can reliably be suited for the growth of their investments.

As one of Africa’s youngest leaders, George Manneh Weah struggles to restructure the nation’s economy which is meeting its challenges at all levels, a group of committed investors have decided to supplement the effort of the Liberian government in bringing sanity to the country’s economy revival by establishing a FIVE-STAR Branded Hilton Monrovia.

Actualizing such dream, at the amazement of Liberians and foreign residents, recently Hilton (NYSE:HLT) signed a Management Agreement with Hospitality Concept & Allied Services Limited given birth the to bring its flagship Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand to Liberia by financially investing $48m on the project as its initial start.

With this investment commitment shown by Hospitality Concept and Allied Services Limited to infuse $70m into the Liberian economy, the biggest so far following the ascendancy of President George Manneh Weah is indeed a boost for the rapid revival of the nation’s economic growth and the empowerment of Liberians through jobs creation.

According to information, when this multimillion dollars project which will contain 192-guest room is completed in 2023 in the suburb of Paynesville, hundreds of tourists, investors and other international entrepreneurs, including international NGOs, Liberia will once more breath a sanity of good investment with the establishment of branded Hilton Hotels in the sub region.

The 12-story tower complex (which will be the tallest building in the country) will contain state of the art conferencing facilities, a restaurant, bar and outdoor pool. Guests will be able to choose between upscale appointed guest rooms and a range of suites, including two Presidential Suites.
