As US President-elect, Joe Biden, VP-elect, Kamala Harris Inauguration Scheduled For January 20, Sirleaf, Boakai Reportedly Invited

GNN has gathered that several world leaders including 1, 500 other officials due to the COVID-19 have been invited to grace the inauguration of United States 46th President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris scheduled for Wednesday, January 20, 2021, it has reliably learnt that the former Liberian President, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and her Vice President who is also the political leader of the opposition Unity Party, Joseph N. Boakai have been invited to grace the occasion.

However, it is not clear as to whether President George Manneh Weah will be amongst the number of world leaders to be invited for this occasion, but sources closed to the GNN disclosed that the Liberian leader may likely or unlikely be invited due to his status as a sitting African leader.

Some Liberians who spoke to the GNN hope that their President will be invited at this great ceremony and to do all in establishing a cordial relationship with the current United States President and his Vice for an improved relationship,

In West Africa, according source closed to the GNN, Ghanaian reelected President, Nana Akufo-Addo has since been invited to attend the inauguration of US President-elect Joe Biden.
