As President Weah Ends His First-led Nationwide Tour In Grand Kru, Several Projects Dedicated Including Pro-Poor Housing Units
After touring six counties as his first-led, the Liberian leader dedicating several projects in his home county, Grand Kru County putting smiles on the faces of hundreds citizens by dedicating several Pro-Poor Housing Units in that part of the country.
The Pro-Poor family size housing units in Barclayville has replaced several dilapidated mud-and-thatch houses, as each housing unit (27ft x 25ft) comprises two bed rooms, a living room, bathroom and two porches.
The Liberian leader who arrived in Grand Kru County amid a rousing welcome for him and his entourage yesterday, February 25, 2021 concluded his six counties tour; counties the Liberian leader and his entourage included: Bong, Nimba, Grand Gedeh, River Gee, Maryland, and now Grand Kru.
According to our Correspondent who is traveling with the Liberian leader, citizens in these counties were overwhelmed to see their leader, the famous soccer star, who has captured several international award in the football world including the both the Paris Saint-Germain and Milan, in 1995, recipient of several individual awards: he won the Ballon d’Or, the Onze d’Or, and was named FIFA World Player of the Year, becoming the first and, currently, only native African player, to win these awards.
The Liberian leader and his entourage are expected to return to Monrovia this weekend.
