As LMM Craves for More Support for Liberia, Princess Fatu Gayflor Overwhelm Liberians With Her Traditional Songs
The occasion was colorful and was a Fundraiser Gala Benefiting 2020 Banquet organized by the Liberia Medical Mission (LMM), a US based Liberian initiative to help their fellow compatriots back home who are dying of several illnesses and complications due to the lack of proper healthcare services, and the venue was at the Prospect Lodge in Philadelphia, the United States of America, the precise date of December 13, 2019.

Liberians from across the United States, and other nationals gathered at the auditorium of the Prospect Loge to show their support to the initiative of dozens of the Liberia Medical Mission volunteers, and medical doctors who over the years stood by spending sleepless nights in order to patriotically and nationalistically cater to the health needs of their fellow Liberians back home.
The Chairman of the Mission, Joseph Sackor who took the podium following the showing of several video clips on previous successful trips made to Liberia by the Mission, to come to the rescue of countless number of individuals suffering from all kinds diseases and complications, also used the occasion to briefly give an overview of the Mission’s 2020 plans to Liberia.
Mr. Sackor also used the occasion to poured praises on those individuals who made its possible during their many trips to Liberia to be a success named the former Liberian leader, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, and the current leadership of Liberia, President George Manneh Weah and Vice President Jewel-Howard Taylor for their individual support towards the continued growth of the Mission aimed at helping to bring dignity to the country’s health system.

The LMM Chairman also expressed special thanks and appreciation to several volunteers and doctors of the Mission who he said abandoned their individuals’ obligation to join the Mission in its quest to seen the downtrodden of the country’s health system taken an improved state, and further called for more support for the upcoming 2020 trip to Liberia.
Those who received special recognition and Award as committed volunteers included Dr. Williametta Simmons, Ms. Roberta Williams, Mrs. Mariam Bility, Fatu Dorley, Fatu Chenoweth, Ms. Felecia Kpou, Alex Sonpon, Mrs. Saymu Sackor, Mr. Musa Trawally, Mr. Ben Weefaa and Ms. Lusayu Cisco.
Mr. Sackor also took up time to recognize officials of the I-Help Liberia Project team represented by its Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Asumana jabateh Randolph for the support given over the years to the Liberia Medical Mission over the years..
As the fundraiser Gala Diner was being served to the invitees to the occasion, Princess Fatu Gayflor and the ULAB Cultural Troupe were called on stage to splendidly Spice up the occasion.
Princess Fatu Gayflor who is noted as the Queen of Liberian traditional songs took Liberians whom were at the occasion on their heel s with thunderous applauds as they sang and danced alone with her with those songs they have not heard over the years; systematically reflecting on those days when they were back home in Liberia.
