Festive Seasons: Criminals Activities On The Increase; Man Sells Friend For US$5,000.00

As the festive Season’s draws closer in Monrovia and its surroundings, man identified as Solomon Carter, a motorcycle in Grand Bassa County has reportedly made the attempt to sell his friend for the amount of US$5,000.00.

According to report aired on a local radio station in Monrovia, the man who was arrested by the police in the county has admitted to the act, and has meanwhile been detained.

According to the report, this is not the first time that such act has been carried out by this man, an OK Correspondent in Grand Bassa County speaking further said via mobile phone.

In another development, several individuals of mobile money subscribers with GSM companies have been made victims by thieves who have resolved to steal subscribers’ monies from their respective phones through criminal maneuvering by hacking into the account of GSM customers.

Several victims of this criminal activities who spoke to the GNN are calling on National Security to intervene the matter, and also called on GSM companies to carefully observe these criminal acts and arrest those link to these ugly activities.

One of the victims who explained ordeal said her US$300.00 was withdrew from her phone by a caller who claimed to be an employee of the Lonestar GSM company, she said after this conversation with the caller her money in the phone disappeared.
